West End Divers held a smash hit with their West End Scavenger Hunt for SOL International Foundation this evening. The event pitted dive shop against dive shop in a race to acquire photographs of random objects and events ranging from ordinary household to “OMG I can’t believe you have (or did) that!” From expired passports to mullets to three legged turtles and men with shaved legs, it was an all-out race around West End for the teams of four. Evelyn, a professional Madonna impersonator, gives the performance of a lifetime on the Coconut Tree Divers deck. Amazingly, the voice really is her singing “Like a Prayer,” and she didn’t know that her prop would be a three-foot-long sparkling schlong until seconds prior to performance. Watch all the way to the end— it will blow you away. Note to self: Install web cam on Coconut Tree Divers deck.

Sundowner’s Beach Bar has a new website! Given that I spend way too much time sipping rum and pineapples at Sundowner’s, it’s more like I’ve paid them to build their site. Oh well… cheers! Check out the cold drinks, hot food, and great times at www.sundownersroatan.com
